Bronze medal in the pole vault at 15' 6" on number of misses. The reason I post this is because this is his 1st year of competitive vaulting and he's just a freshman. His goals this year was to make the state meet and vault 15' 6". He accomplished both! his main goal in highschool is to break the state pole vault record. if he stays healthy he's got pretty good chance to do it. Not too bad of a football player either!

Also Sinton Senior Derek Shedd won a bronze medal in the 110 Meter High Hurdles. Derek has been a good football player for us the past 4 years.

Congratulations to both of these outstanding young men for their great achievements.
