In our warmup game with them they seem very confident, I look for them to be back in Austin.

I have heard they will possibly be without their catcher for a few weeks, some type of injury. That would be very unfortunate , that kid can play and will most likely be drafted within the first 5 to 6 rounds and that is some pretty decent money to turn down.

Read in today's paper that Simpson will be out 3-6 weeks after having surgery on his right hand.

Damn that's a tough break, I read about him having an injury on another site out of the Neederland area. Guess they were right, wonder how it happened.

Heard he shut his hand in car door. What a damn shame!!! Kid is awesome. While out, they are an average team, with him, they are that #1 team. He's that good. Down right sad this happened to him.

It's a huge loss, but they are much better than an average team!

Best player in HS baseball IMO. I wish Sweeny well, and hope they can somehow fill this major loss.
