Got to see him pitch yesterday at Weimar in a playoff game, after his performance on the bump yesterday most scouts I talked to said he is now solid in the Top 5 or 6 picks in the June Draft. He threw 7 innings 94-96 top 97 with 3 plus pitches to go with that FB, great looking kid.

I have been hearing the same. Don't see how he doesn't opt for baseball.

Heard he could of enrolled at A&M this spring but chose to play baseball instead.

With Manizel returning at QB , why would he want to miss out on a State Championship in baseball. Also , kid comes from a very Wealthy family so money is no issue as far as him signing however if the right team takes him they are going to throw a ton of money at him to sign. Personally , I think he will sign and he has already been invited to Draft day by the MLB which invites the top 10 picks each year.
