This group of young men have been together for several years for the most part and love the game of baseball, heavy with seniors. Got great young talent mixed in also.

Watched Brownwood's '09 deep playoff run when, current St. Louis Carlinals RH flame thrower, Shelby Miller was humming 95 mph fastballs! Enjoyed every minute of it. Good stuff!

All turf field. Didn't realize a 2A school had that kind of $.

Pros and cons to an all turf (except pitchers mound) baseball field. Anyone have any comments to add? I would think the ball plays true on the new turf. On the old "Astro" turf, the ball came off with funky spins. Chance of rain Friday afternoon... guess that's a pro since you don't have to worry about the dirt getting wet! Lol

Graham better be ready... Stephenville plays well under pressure. ;)

According to my son, you have to slide further out because you will slide by the base, but he liked the turf field at Glen Rose.

Both sides are pretty strong offense and defense give edge to the defense .932 fielding percentage as a team. What are Stephenvilles strengths?

Soph Brock Morrison pitched a great game! 3 hitter, 1 hitter going into the 6th inning. Walked a few.
Got out of several jams with runners on base.
Witt Westbrook with a clutch RBI triple in the 2nd to get Stephenville's 1st run.
Noah with a RBI single for 2nd run in the 4th.
Both teams hit several deep balls just shy of the fence. I think the humidity played a roll in a couple not going out for both teams.
