Wimberley Texans' Brennan Blakemore

I know most on here remember him from the 2011 season and the SC game. He signed on with Blinn JC for 2012. I guess it was enough to get him noticed. He is now a Texas Tech Red Raider . Congrats Brennan!

He caught a pass in the spring game, somebody showed it to me on u tube.

He will have 2 Argyle teammates that played in that SC game in Trey Keenan and Ian Sadler(next season), if Sadler holds true to his verbal earlier this spring.

That catch was just the typical blackmore type catch, he makes it happen out of nothing. He may not play this year, but if he stays healthy the next year might be possible.

You never know what the best avenue is to play college football for young players, Wimberley has 8 players playing or going to play off the 2011 team and This years team -- D-1, D-2, D-3 and NAIA. Thats not bad for a little ol Hill Country 3A team. Very Proud, hell I coached most of themof them at one time or another in youth FB, BB or Bb.........very proud of these boys!

The guys at McMurry doing good. I think Lambert will start at QB this year. Alana- LB and Taylor OL are there too. D-2
