Played with Casey Pachall (TCU suspended QB), Shelby Miller (SL Cardinals RH pitcher) in HS at Bwd. All 3 were great HS athletes in which 2 are now pro and 1 has potential if he can keep his head on his shoulders.

I know Vacarro was not on the team as a senior but it is truly amazing that that team missed the playoffs as seniors after dropping to 3A and coming off a quarterfinal apperance the year before. There had to be a lot going on behind closed doors for that much talent to not at least get in.

Why did vac aero not play his senior year?

Vacarro went through 2 a days at Brownwood and even played in a scrimmage or two his senior year after being a starter his soph and jr years. Something happened and apparently he walked out of practice one day and enrolled at Early. Speculation has always been that he and Coach Freeman did not see eye to eye on something, but that has never been confirmed to me.
