The Gilmel Buckeyes continue to dominate, now it is Track & Field. 11 points down to Chapel Hill coming into the two final events:

1600 meters: 1. Jacob Tomme, Spring Hill 4:44.38; 2. Case White, Spring Hill 4:45.68; 3. Juwan Hughes, Gilmer 4:50.17; 4. Jared Plant, Gilmer 4:50.60

1600 relay: 1. Kilgore 3:26.14; 2. Gilmer 3:27.15; 3. Chapel Hill 3:30.44; 4. Bullard 3:31.48

For a final:

Team totals: 1 .Gilmer 138; 2. Chapel Hill 135; 3. Kilgore 120; 4. Spring Hill 82; 5. Henderson 74; 6. Bullard 69; 7. Gladewater 5

If they can shave about 8 seconds off of that mile relay the might make it out of region. Celina ran a 3:20 with 2 alternates.

Thought the relay times would be little faster in this district. Thought several teams would run sub 43 n 400 relay. Maybe a 3:21 on mile relay.

Even though Eats Texas Speed Kills, we have a bunch of slow guys...there just quick...got Bi-District meet on Wednesday with 15-3A...they are slower & not as quick...we should do good in the relays...now Regional may be another story...I am ready for 7on7 to get started anyway.
