I know we are not done with the current season, but I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead a get this subject started. Since most on here are supporting teams that are in the playoffs, those who are not can start talking about next season. So I guess my question would be what team(s), in your opinion, should we look out for in 2004?

Rice will be in a rebuilding stage. Losing quite a few Seniors this year. We have alot of talent that will be moving up from the JV. Our JV went undefeated this year, so don't count us out. Rice will still be a powerhouse. Possible that we could move down to 2a, though. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

liberty is returning almost all their impact players from this season except one of their stud linebackers...they should be better than they r this year which will be fun to watch..maybe they can get some polls attention finally...

As for Bandera, they'll be rebuilding for a few years. I for one hope that they go back into either district 26 or 29.

BC looks pretty good for the next couple of years. We will have several Freshman move up to Varsity. Freshman Team won their district this year.

Cuero moved up in most polls this year from around 85-90 to the top ten in a lot of polls. Returning 9 starters on offense and 6 on defense. Scrappy JV and outstanding freshmen. I look for big things next year.

Ballinger graduates the house, but our sub varsity teams will replace very well!

Kirbyville Wildcats. They will be returning several starters next year.(Maybe we will get an O.C. before next year.)We need a better offensive stradegy for the talent we have.

Decatur will be loaded for at least the next three years. My son is a Senior and I hate to say this, but the Eagles should be better next year than they are this year. A ton of talent on JV and Freshman, plus QB Dane and WR Christian will be back. I think our JV team combined with the best freshman could give our varsity team a good game right now. After Dane leave we have a current freshman QB who is taller and just as talented. He will be a player to watch as a JR and a SR.
