This should be a good one... last game of the 1st round of district.. in Leopard land tonight..

Cuero Gobblers 16-6
La Grange Leopards 15-4

That's the records I could find, don't shoot me if I am off a game or two  Pretty sure both teams are undefeated in district. That will change tonight.. Good Luck Gobblers!

thanks SFIA I didn't have much info on them..... baseball is a funny game - just depends on which team shows up.. I am hoping the winning Gobblers show up tonight!

Just curious if you know if the pitcher last night for Cuero was their Ace, his last name was Johnson.

Yes, Austin Johnson is their ace.

I was just curious if he was , I know we did not have a lot of hits off him however their CF mades some great catches on balls that would have been doubles for sure. Someone had a gun on him in the stands said he was 81-82 , sounds about right for normal 3A pitching. Our starting picher struggled from the start with control however he made some quailty pitches to get out of jams, Supak pretty much dominated them when he cam in and when his breaking ball is finding the zone he is tough to hit. Overall great game.
