Sinton won tonight (4-9-13) over Ingleside 7 to 5. Sinton is now 6-0 in district while Ingleside is at 2-4. Hopefully more information will come a little later.

Can't wait for the rematch this Saturday in Sinton. Ya'll seem to have things lined out since the first time we played here in Yoakum. I'm looking for a good game this time.Sinton win on Friday and a win against Yoakum will put Sinton coach at 700 wins. Txhighschoolbaseball.com had him at 681 wins at the start of the season and Sinton is 17-6-2 for the season.

Sinton defense can be solid and they can occasionally have a bad game from the looks of it this season. Yoakum should see a very good team on saturday when they face Sinton.

4th inning Donnie Lopez hit a home run to left for a 1-0 Sinton lead.
Bot 4th inning Lopez hadn't given up a hit, Orange Grove came up with couple of hits and had runners 2nd and 3rd with 1 out when R, Gonzales comes through with a grounder right up the middle on a 0-2 pitch for the game winning hit.

Sinton wasn't able to get back to back hits. Came close in the 4th after Lopez homered, Tracker Conn crushed a fastball to straight away center but died near the fence as the wind kept it in.

Good clean game. Sinton had 4 different starters due to injuries but the depth for Sinton is pretty good so credit goes to Solano in good pitching performance, nice fastball guessing in 90 mph range.

Sounded like a good game. We had the night off last night. Least score shows that. Credit Cuero, they are good and beat us like a drum. Even rubbed our face in it at Yoakum Field, by stealing 2 bases, back to back, when leading 10-1 in the 6th. I'm old school, but--that batter would of payed for it.

Looking forward to forgetting that mess last night by playing another state ranked opponent. And, I been waiting awhile to see ya'lls stadium.

yea Phil the last dstrict games are on April 26th on a Friday and most likely for the district championship in Robstown. Sinton is 4-1 against Robstown in the years they've been in our district.

They did as the Sinton Pirates broke a 2all tie scoring 2 runs in the botom of the 6th inning and went on to beat Rockport-Fulton in a tough game with both sides playing well.

It is simple. The key game is Sinton at Robstown but also Orange Grove at Ingleside could be important. If Orange Grove loses they are third place no matter what happens with Sinton vs Robstown. In that case if Sinton beats Robstown they are outright district champions and Robstown in second place. A Robstown win would put them as co-champions and another game (which I think would be the case for any tie breaker) or coin flip will decide who represents as district champions and runner ups.

If Orange Grove beats Ingleside which I think they will in a close tough game then they will at least get third place. If Sinton beats Robstown then Orange Grove would tie Robstown for second and third place with another game or coin flip to decide who represents the district in second place.

Had Orange Grove not lost to Rockport-Fulton they would have been in great position to have been in a 3 way or 2 way tie for the district championship.
