Better to be lucky than good at times. Lefty #21 for GZ threw a gem of a game. 1 hit over 8 innings. GZ "D" had 5 errors, and with 2 outs in the 9th, routine fly ball is dropped by RF'er to allow winning run to score from second.

Yoakum Ryan Kvinta goes the distance. Throwing 126 pitches, 5 hits allowed to pick up the win.

La Grange decides to roll the dice and comes up snake eyes , not smart decision. Giddings is always a tough place for us to win, bad decision.

Wow H&L, tough Tuesday. I feared we were going to blow a game that we can't afford to lose. GZ crafty lefty pitched a solid game. And, as norm, their "D" let them down when they changed pitchers and brought in a weak RF'er and we found him.

Got that right 42. Same boat here, except the error part. That lefty had our number. We are very lucky to have won this one. But, we'll take it. Lord, 0-2 out the gate would of been bad.
