Navasota Rattler 3A Div. II State Championship Ring

State Championship Rings came in today for the Rattlers. Wanted to share an image of it. It's the prize that student athletes work for, hurt for, and strive for; where very few have the opportunity to earn and call themselves State Champions. It was a great experience to see these players today receive their rings and continue the brotherhood that is Texas High School Football. It was an amazing year for the Rattlers and the community of Navasota (#RattlerNation). Hats off to the other great programs around the state and the great battles we had between our team and your storied programs. There really is nothing like Texas High School Football.

A prize to be cherished for a lifetime, without a doubt. Every player on each team that gets to "the game" remembers it, but the ring is the thing. A silver medal and another trophy just ain't the same. Congrats to all the ringbearers out there in Texas. If you earn one in this state, that's saying something.

You know it would be great if there was a gallery of all previous State Championship rings. I think it would be a neat idea to see other school's rings and the evolution of championship rings through the years. Just a thought.

That's a sweet ring! Long time coming for a town that's had some really fine teams. Although they are all great.......that first title is a great sense of pride for the entire community that will not be soon forgotten. :clap::clap:
