Unfortunately for all of us in District 8 there is a third Shipley boy, he is fast like the other 2, the only difference is that this one is pretty stout also, and only in 8th grade.

Only Ship I know about is the big lineman at Marble Falls. Will be a junior next year. He was in Burnet, daddy was on the school board, moved him to Faith Academy, daddy was still on the school board for some strange reason.....then Dodge came to town, daddy quits the Burnet school board, and moves his boy to Marble.....enough with the Shipley's already...a new era has begun!.....
I can also tell you we got us a pretty darn fast athlete ourselves in Burnet just cause we hired a new superintendant. And yes, his name is McBurnett! His boy is an 8th grader and looks mighty fast on the track. It was funny to hear the announcer at last track meet say, "McBurnett from Burnet durnit"......But the bottom line is, we ain't hiring no one unless you bring along some athletes!..:D
