This movie was made and released late in 1968 and was the last of the Matt Helm movies with Dean Martin in a role pattern after James Bond. These movies had action but also humor and satire mixed in it and were good. This movie also starred talented beautiful actress such as Sharon Tate as Freya, Elke Sommer as Linka, Nancy Kuwan as Yu-Rang and Tina Louise as Lola. Also Nigel Green is the villain Count Contini and John Larch as McDonald. Chuck Norris mades an uncredited brief appearance as this was made before he was famous. He is one of Contini's thugs that appear in the House of Seven Joys and if you look close you can see his face just before Freya shots her gun to save Matt.

This is a great movie but it is a Sharon Tate movie and she was a great beautiful actress that we lost much too soon as she was a victim of Charles Manson gang. She comes on at about the 24 minute mark and then the movie goes from good to great. Don't miss this one if you have never seen it and especiallay if you aren't familiar with Sharon Tate's work. Enjoy.

Beside Chuck Norris the scene also includes Bruce Lee who was a trainer in karate for the stars. Too bad Chuck and Bruce were at Sharon's house the night of the murders. Charles Manson's bunch would have been in trouble.
