I know the El Campo Tournament is coming up starting on Thursday
I know Wharton will play it's' two games at Tiger Field though

This used to be a decent tournament, but most of the teams are 1A. I can remember Montgomery, Channelview, 4a ElCampo, Willowridge, and Bush being in the tourney.

I can assure you there has never been a 1a team in the tournament.

And Willowridge and Bush are crap teams. Just because they are 5a doesn't make them good.

Ok Bohemians, dont get your panties in a wad, I was joking. The tournament is actually better quality this year than the past few. Great job of recruiting teams. West Houston is kind of the wild card, dont know what you will get with a private school. Good luck to all those involved.

I agree the teams have been historically weak for the tournament. The tournament just never really established itself as a premier tournament.

When I was in high school in the 90's El Campo played in the Brenham tournament every year. Everybody wanted an invite to that thing. Played against the likes of Brenham, CC Calallen and Austin Westlake.
