La Marque passes Yates High School as we both travel an additional 60 miles to play a game outside the city of Houston. I wish they could move this to the Reliant Center or maybe Autry Court.

i hear you....it could be worst. Last weekend 5A Region IV final Steele v. Wagner...schools like 12 mi apart traveled almost 4.5 hours to Edinburg. Boys this week Steele v. Brandeis about 30 miles apart meet in the Region IV final in Edinburg. I guess when you re playing for a chance to go to Austin you overlook the travel. Good Luck to you all.

What's the big deal here? Used to be every year the Region IV tournament was in San Antonio. What if 2 valley teams met in the final? Then the same applies. 2 nearby schools having to travel 4.5 hours to San Antonio.

This is just San Antonio getting a taste of their own medicine. Too bad if they don't like it.
