I think its a tribute of 3A Texas Baseball that so many games were "best-of three" tight series and so many games were decided by one point; in extra close bracket games...The games were decided by one point in the semi-finals just like the trend has been for the entire bracket play...Well, I pick Sinton in a good game over Lorena. Lorena, has escaped by one point too many times, to keep from having their luck run out, sooner of later.

ok, since alaniz pitched the semifinal game, and from i've seen and heard has a good bat, where will he play in the field against lorena?

Shell He is a senior and he wasn't drafted. He has a scholarship offer to go to UT and has committed to go there.

Well, for better or for worse, I wanted to see this match-up. Saw Lorena last night. The played good defense for 5 innings. I got there in the top of the 3rd. By that time they had 3 errors??? They hit the ball extremly hard...hopefully the Pirates can pull it out! :)
