This is a good movie with good performances by Frank Sinatra as the leader of the hit men, Sterling Hayden as the sheriff, James Gleasson as Pop and Nancy Gates as the love interest of the Sheriff. The name of the small town is Suddenly, AZ which was named from the old west when things happened suddenly. Sinantra is outstanding as the leader of the hit men who take refuge in the widow's house with plans to kill the President when his train stops by on his way to a fishing trip. The suspense is high and you will be on the edge of your seats. This was one of Sinatra's first dramatic roles and it is a good one. It was not the big hit it deserved to be at the time but I think you will enjoy it.
