Is there any truth that Sweeny has re-opened the AD-football coach position?
Don't know if my source is accurate or not.
Said the board was not happy with Superintendent recommendation

Good for the board. Unless the sups son was really the best candidate.

From what I've heard, the sup's son is fully qualified and was well liked by the players when he was named interim. He declined to be the interim after a couple of weeks because of flack about being the sup's son and all, from some in the community. He seems like a good fit, just listening to guys at work that live there.

I have no idea whether he is qualified or not, but someone certainly has him on the fast track.

27 years old and already has been made an assistant principal and head basketball coach.

Maybe he is a prodigy, but most guys don't get those opportunities that quickly.

I've always heard, it don't hurt to have connections. But, in that district he better know and win in football. I have no clue if he is ready. Don't know him. Wish him well.
