Argyle Eagles Boys(23-9) went undefeated in District 10 for the 5th consecutive season. Their record in that span in district play is 56-2. They defeated a good Carrollton Ranchview club that will be playing a bi-district game against Sanger out of District 9. The Eagles will draw a bye for Round 1.

Argyle Eagles Girls(27-6) defeated Sanger in the bi-district round and will be playing an Area round game against Wilmer Hutchins on Friday.

Apparently, many viewers here had trouble reading this post. The Argyle Eagles Boys basketball team has gone undefeated in district play for the 5th season in a row now, accumulating a district play record in that span of 56-2. Congrats should go out to their coaches and players for recognition of a very fine record. The two losses were to non-district opponents, and I don't know why they were even included in this record....except that they occurred sometime DURING district play, lol. I know it seems almost comical, but I didn't come up with these numbers.....just repeating what was written on the website. I hope this clears up some of the confusion. The record should read 56-0 for the past five years. I think they included two losses against some 4A schools they scheduled during district play to fill out a "hole" in their schedule. What they mean is the record is 56-2 in that time span, I guess. Heck, I don't know what they mean, either....to tell ya the truth. All I know is they haven't lost a district game in the last 5 years.
