Catfish Fry's for Lent start Friday

A lot of towns around the Wharton area (about 50 mile radius) have catfish fries starting on Friday with Lent. Most are put on by catholic church's or Knights Of Columbus.
Most have sides like slaw, fries, hush puppies, beans, mac and cheese etc.
Most are $9 or $10.
Nada is my favorite.
Others also are Wharton, Rosenberg, Columbus, Sealy, East Bernard, Brenham.
I'm sure there a lot more.
