How good is Marlin

I know they are 3-2, but they beat the best team in 4-A. Was the game a fluke or are these guys for real? Who have they lost to?

There only two losses were to 4A Waco University and Top Ten 3A Burnet. I would have to say, they just might be for real.

I think any team that beats Ennis has earned much respect. Wish I had been in the stands for that game.

Marlin probably outplayed Burnet, but Burnet knew how to score and made big plays at the right time.

Marlin has some tough, athletic RBs, a talented QB who sometimes throws erradically (in OT, he threw it up for grabs on Shipley's side of the field - game over), & a tough defense.

Marlin v Newton would be very interesting.
