Sad - I gotta make this comment and please don't think I am heartless.. I am the mother of 3 boys and I understand being a daredevil, etc but when I read the family is collecting donations for his medical expenses - the hair on the back of my neck stood straight up.. I think 1st and foremost, before anyone competes like this, they need to show proof they have very good medical insurance with high limits - sorry, that's just the way this conservative momma thinks.. carry on....

Because we all know insurance companies will pay 100% of the cost 100% of the time. That week long stay in the hospital with these kinds of complications was probably a $1,000,000 hospital bill.
