are there any key games this week that may decide who will win district or maybe place 2nd. just wondering

In 30-3A Sinton plays West Oso in one key game this week. West Oso is much more improved this year and could be a factor in the playoffs. Another key game this Friday night that may have playoff factors will be Mathis and Aransas Pass.

In district 11 3a Gilmer verus Mount Vernon may go along way in deciding who the front runner will be in this district. The other two games will really not even be a contest.

check out phil's post about district 30. west oso, ap and mathis will be battling for the second and third playoff spot, and if west oso beats either mathis or ap (or both) then the game between the panthers and pirates is huge.

Chapel Hill v Carthage, the biggest game in district 16 this week. If Chapel Hill loses they fall to 0-6 and are out of the running for a playoff spot most likly. Carthage needs to win to get a good start into district. Carthage by 10

Sweeny vs. Edna, I think the winner of this game will come in at least 3rd place in 28-3A.

Robinson vs. Hillsboro will pretty much set the tone for district 17-3a. With a win, the Rockets stay in first (Depending on how China Spring does... could be tied for first if China wins, or have first alone if China loses.) with a loss, they are tied with Hillsboro. This is definetly a game to watch.

In district 8-3a the gmae is between Castlebery and Everman. Who ever wins this game is granteed a spot int he playoffs. So this is a big game that decides the rest of the district.

Barbers Hill v. Splendora. If Splendora gets beat they are quite possibly eliminated from all playoff hopes and that would be a huge surprise.

Fairfield vs Teague huge rivalry and if teague loses there probably out of the play off race but they always play up when they play us and same with us last year when we didnt win a game

In 29AAA Carrizo Springs vs Hondo. This game should decide who wins this district. There is only one other team in this district who really has a shot and that's Devine. Carrizo has both of these teams at home so a win on Friday could give them a leg up on the race for the title.

Our game verse Columbus. It's the district opener, and Columbus isn't a bad team. They have a pretty good defense and a solid offense. Could be a good game.....but we are gonna come out with our minds right from now on since we know how it is to lose.
