Both of these schools are upgrading facilities with new stadiums, so why not a new look in uniforms? I say go for it....out with the old and in with the new. If you want to compete with the top teams, you'll have to offer an environment to attract the better recruits. We have many right here in Texas. No need to look elsewhere in the future. I see a "new" revived Southwest Conference type thing building here in Texas...where many nativeson players will choose to stay and play in-state again. Gary Patterson has revived TCU and their facilities already. Briles is heading the resurgence at Baylor. A&M is already set for the future. Lubbock just made some changes in coaching, and will try to make it back to find their identity. Texas needs something new, something old, something borrowed, something bold. Kudos to some of these Texas schools for making the needed changes to move forward.
