Channel 13 ABC Sports Director retires

Channel 13 Sports Director Bob Allen out of Houston was on the air for the last day on Monday
He was with the station 39 years .
He was one of the best according to some folks.
I liked Giff Neilson, an ex Oiler QB) and Ron Franklin better

That is a blast from the past having seen all of them on the Sports back then.
Even saw Neilson play with the Oilers. The other QBs on the Oilers at the time were Dan Pastorini, Ken Stabler, Archie Manning and Oliver Luck.
Oh crap.:doh:.. I can remember that but I cannot tell you what I had for dinenr last might.
