Seeing as my grandpa is a stingy man I have to buy the guns I want from him.

Recently I purchased a Winchester Model 1200 12 guage slide action for $100. I took it to a gunsmith who cleaned it and it needed to be re-blued and that ran me $45. I think $145 total for a Winchester shotgun is a good deal.

He has a Winchester Model 94 30-30 that was manufactured in 1956 that he is going to sell me for $300 which in reality the gun is worth double or triple that value.

It's okay because it's not an assault rifle.

Take out the plug & load it with Double OO Buckshot...you will rethink Assault Rifle...great gun...replaced my Model 12 with one...mine's bigger than yours...it's a Magnum.

You could have bought it for that in any pawn shop across the country. Even if your grandpa converted the barrel to accommodate 3 inch shells and screw in chokes (which is probably not the case) it would max out at about what you paid.

Hold on to that gun. Perhaps you can also sell it for a profit to your grandson.
