I think the real Texans will appear in this one. Texans by 17.

I sure hope so

It's never a good thing when you're not sure about your team... but then again I'm a Cowboy fan so I clearly understand.

Must be able to get our run game back somehow. It's been gone for a month now. Sure opens everything else up.

If the Texans lose, I might get on the Bengals bandwagon because of Andy Dalton, another quality Texas QB playing in the NFL.

Not thrilled to settle for a FG, but that drive showed some things we haven't seen in a few weeks. I have been scratching my head as to why they removed K Martin from the offensive gameplan. Spreading it around will open up Dre.

How would you like to add Clowny with JJ in a couple years?

That would be awesome!

I like the way this one has started.Looking like the Texans are focused.

I'm fan's of both, but--I can no longer watch the Cowboys. They make me nauseated and frustrated when watching that mess.

They're sustaining drives but keep settling for FGs. Its going to put a lot of pressure on the defense.

I feel the same way Yt. Jason Garret drives me crazy the way he remains so calm and tries to find positives in losses!

Well that sucked

You can say that Schaub shouldn't have thrown that ball, but Casey has to step up to that pass instead of sitting on his route.

Receiver comes back to ball like your taught in JH, pick don't happen. Run the freaking ball Houston.

Yep, Matt Schaub is still horrible.

Sure Casey could've helped him out a bit, but he threw it with the DB staring him down clearing waiting to jump the route

Another FG...

Texans should have ran it with Foster. That play call didn't make sense to me.

Blastoderm55

Had to go for the points there. I didn't like the call to go 5 wide on third down. They've done very well on play action to TE and FB in goal line situations. The defense is playing very well and will have to carry the offense again.

Foster has been tearing it up. I was sick of hearing all the talk about how good the front seven is for Cincy. The O-line was opening some great lanes for Foster.

I agree. If you can't stop it then I am going to keep doing it.

Run Foster till his tongue hangs the ground. Then, get Dre' involved or the TE down the seam.

Blastoderm55

It wasn't the best first half, but putting the interception aside, the Texans have absolutely dominated. They need to finish some drives with TDs and keeping hanging in there on D. This could easily be 21-0 instead of 9-7. Hold Cincy on the opening possession and I think the game is ours to take!

YTBulldogs
01-05-2013, 06:10 PM
Yeah, I don't see Cincy scoring on that Texan "D". 9 points might be enough.

Blastoderm55

Defense did exactly what they needed to do. 3 and out, and then bone head penalty on Cincy special teams. Great field position for offense. Need a TD. Come on Schaub!

See what happens when you give the ball to Foster within the 5 yard line.

Ugly win, but---we move on. Should of won this one by at least 21. Must finish drives next week.

Mark it up as a W for the Texans.

Rematch with the pats next week!

Tough to think they will win if they can't get TD's. FG's will not win them the game next week against the Pats.

Blastoderm55

If the o-line can handle Vince Wilfork, I think the Texans have a great chance of taking out the Patriots next week. Another huge game by the o-line will be key. Open up room for Foster and keep Schaub upright. The defense played lights out for the most part. Penalties are what worry me more than anything, in all three phases of the game.

Have to score TD's to beat the Pats.

Scoop27

Over 400 yards in total offense and only 1 TD to show for it
2 offensive TDs in past three weeks I think.
lot of bad playing calling and too many screen passes
Defense won it for them
Texans won't come close to beating New England next week

I wouldn't be so certain of that statement. The way things go in the NFL vary so much from week to week as teams progress thru the playoffs. What happens one week is just not an indicator of what may happen the very next week for that team offensively. We've seen this in the past when a team looks "hot", only to lose the following week when they were the prohibiitive favorite. The Texans are a formidable opponent for any team to play, and have the ingredients and health to go all the way this season. Let's keep up the positive waves and cheer them to victory. Go Texans!!!

I know what you mean. With the Cowboys it's been very difficult to endure for over a decade now. Though not a fan..congrats to the Texans on the win and best of luck next week.
