I saw that Prime Prep beat the #1 team in the nation (Huntington Prep) tonight.

Forget it in Class 3A for basketball this season, lol. Yates is just in a different time zone altogether than the rest of the best. Looks like making the trip to Austin this season will be the big payoff for the rest of us, huh? Playing for a "spot" in the State Tournament, I guess. Maybe a team like last year's Argyle team that could play "control" and deliberate basketball could cause this Yates team some problems. But everything would hafta fall exactly right for a team like that to get a shot at Yates in the tournament...not gonna happen. Is there a team in their region that could do that???

With all the large arenas in the Houston area I was wondering why did they choose that small gym

Not normal at all, lol. What's normal about these two schools, though??? Yates has always been roundball city, and now Prime Prep is.....what it is.

Those highlights would get Bobby Knight to throw some chairs. Nice show, though they should carry luggage. Some of those kids are traveling on their dunks and #24 travels before most of his 3's.
