Who has the Toughest opener?

List who you think has the toughest opener? I know Canyon has a tough one. Seems like when you drop down your pre district gets tougher.

Sinton vs.Gregory-Portland.I know Sinton didn't beat em in the 60's and 70's and i think that's the only time they each other.BIG rivalry back in them days.Should bew one hell of an opener.

Gatesville opens at home against 4A Alvarado. Will be the first time for the two teams to meet. Heck, all three of the Hornet's non-district games will be tough, 2nd game at Burnet and third game at Cameron.

Bridge City opens against a big 4A, Little Cypress-Mauriceville----that's seems to have quite good talent. Since it's Coach Tarver's debut it could get real shakey..... I would love to see Vernon play Sweetwater that night-I hear they are an-even matchup.

Our opener is against Orange Grove. Mathis vs. OG is always a good game. Last year we were suppose to play them but it got rained out and the coach didn't want to reshedule.So know Mathis is ready to give them a beatin'.We're just going to make is up for last year OG.GOOOOOOOO MATHIS!!!!!!!!!

Vernon and Sweetwater should be a good one. If our turf isnt finished it will have to be moved to Vernon. FYI, my college roommate is from Bridge City.

Greenwood plays Ballinger in their opening (I believe). Then on to Sweetwater, Snyder and Andrews. Pre-season should be rougher than district. Hope we stay healthy!!

Gatesville having to play the #2 ranked team in District 15-4A, Alavarado. The Indians are picked to finish behind Waco University for the 4A title. Gatesville plays three tough non-district games in Alvarado, Burnet and Cameron.

From what I hear, Alvarado will not be as strong as normal. Just up to 4A from the 3A ranks so this one might not be quite as tough as expected.

Snyder vs # 4 in 4A Frenship Snyder has not beat them in the past 4 or 5 years. Then Snyder turns around and plays Wylie. Not sure it can get much tougher then that?
