Oh well. This win guarantees MackPa will be there until at least the end of the 2032 season.

It was a great and needed win by UT but you are right. Why did't the coaches or players look at the clock they could have seen it was winding down and called timeout and talked it over with the officials. At worse they would have had a chance to get a field goal.

And what about the end of the game. The network said that Oregon State had one time out left yet when UT took a knee on third down with about 20 seconds left they could have called that timeout with 18 seconds left. UT would have used a little time on fourth down. True the chances would have been extremely slim but I would have tried it instead of letting those last 18 seconds run out. Of course maybe (and I suspect so) the tv network was wrong about Oregon State having one more time out.
