Im guessing that's because bringing an entire film crew etc to a site for 9 games seems alot more cost effective than bringing the same crew for one game.

Bellville played Port Isabel in the D2 Region 4 finals. That game was webscast by a RGV tv station and also by a RGV radio station. The audio portion was available as a live feed and the video was available one hour after the game was over. They said there was a UIL rule that prohibits live video feed unless the game is sold out 48 hours before kickoff. Anyway, it wasn't the same video quality as a TV broadcast, both stations were using a single camera, but it was very cool to be able to watch the game again. I would think that in towns like Stephenville that have a lot of community support for their team, somebody could arrange to do the same type of thing for all of their games. Raising the funds shouldn't be a problem. You could let big donors or sponsors ring the bell on the fire truck during team parades or something. Just a thought.

The game was web-cast on the FSSW web site, last Friday with a complete outage for the third quarter and about 3 minutes of the 4th! Ugh. Next year we get all the games except six man!
