During Lent here in Wharton County area-a lot of churches have catfish suppers on Friday-Nada is one of the best. East Bernard, Wharton, Sealy, Needville, Rosenberg and Sealy have them
Is Catfish Kitchen still open on Hwy 71 in Austin.
Its great especially the slaw. I know I've been going there for over 25 years

sounds good, love me some fried fisih,, any day of the week....... We fried some of the Spanish Mackerel PeeWee caught on his fishing trip to SE Louisiana.. It was SO GOOD.. had a beer or two with it.. Wish I was on vacation too :clap: Good Luck to the Buckeyes!!!!!
