Leaving for Waco at 2 p.m. to watch East Bernard-Elysian Fields in the 2A Division 2 Semifinal at Floyd Casey Stadium.
They had a mass service this morning at 7 a.m. at Holy Cross Church-All the players were there but no coaches.
They have a send off before n oon

This is the first I have heard of a team going to mass together. Does this happen in other places?

East Bernard players also attended masses in previous playoff games on Friday morning.
The priest is a big football fan

China Spring all went to Church together once a month during the season. They pick a player's church and go as a team

A team that prays together.... (I won't finish cause it would have been cheesy!
