Worst case scenario. Grienke to NL fine. Bone to Angels, we won't win division next 3-5 years.

Pujols really worked out for them.

Angels are crazy, no way he is worth 5 years 25 million per.

Pujols really worked out for them.

Once Trout arrived he was good. All super stars need lineup protection.

Walk Hamilton to get Pujols. Walk Pujols to get Hamilton.

I'll take option C!!!

The Angels are instantly the favorite to win West and possibly WS. In 5 years I may not care, but I can guarantee the Angels win WS before Texas does

Angels projected lineup:

1. Mike Trout – CF
2. Erick Aybar – SS
3. Josh Hamilton – LF
4. Albert Pujols – 1B
5. Mark Trumbo – RF
6. Kendrys Morales – DH
7. Alberto Callaspo – 3B
8. Howie Kendrick – 2B
9. Chris Iannetta – C

Angels projected rotation:

1. Jered Weaver
2. C.J. Wilson
3. Tommy Hanson
4. Joe Blanton
5. Garrett Richards/ Jerome Williams

The lineup will be loaded, but what about his rotation. You know what you are going to get from Weaver, and possibly from Wilson, but what about this 3-5. I would not be surprised to see them go after a solid middle of the rotation type of guy depending on what kind of money they are working with.

A lot of people were calling them the favorites last season also. How did that work out for them? Remember that although Josh had some amazing stretches in Texas he also had some stretches where he couldn't stop swinging at golfer balls. I'm not convinced that Josh's best days aren't behind him. WAY BEHIND!

Looks like Rangers have been getting advice from Mark Cuban !!

The Rangers waited and waited until something happened. How in the world could they be upset when "JH didn't give us a chance to counter."

Step up and sign him or accept the consequences. I think we hoped someone outside our division would throw up a huge number to make it easy to say goodbye. What happened was one of the greatest plays by an owner I can remember. The Angels just gut punched every Ranger fan. There will always be a winner and a loser in sports but regardless, the Rangers have been the loser all winter.

Rangers will be better off with not spending that much on him!

Damn, rough offseason for Texas so far...:(Napoli,Young and Hamilton and to us Sinton folks, Mike Adams all no longer on the team.

Ranger pitching doesn't perform this upcoming season, its going to be over pretty quick and be battling the Astros for cellar dwellars. Need Holland to become that solid pitcher he can be and be the staff ace.

Dempster is also gone but I guess most felt his acquisition was just for last year. Feldman who has been unreliable the last few years is gone. This article is also pointing out that Upton is most likely out of the picture.

I am gald to see Josh go, He absolutely quit the last few weeks of the season. No one needs someone on their team that doesnt care to win.
