He knows how to win and all he needs is a good staff. Plus he is young (no pun intended) and would be around for the next 30 years or so. WE WANT VINCE!!

As a black man who thinks there should be A LOT more black coaches in D1 football, i have to ask you. WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING????? Have you been skiing in Colorado and taking advantage of the new laws? This guy couldn't even handle being booed by a crowd, no way he could even come close to handling the pressure of a head coaching position.

I want some of what he's got. Is that the medical grade stuff Phil???

I understand you needing that stuff since all your bicycling stuff imploded/self destructed from the doping...

Here are some fun facts.

"The Texas Longhorns under Mack Brown are now 11-15 (.423 winning percentage) in conference play over the last three years with a 21-16 overall record (.568 winning percentage). Brown is 2-11 against the Top 25 (a .153 winning percentage).

No conference titles, of course. That's not his thing.

Mack's unpopular predecessor, the much-reviled John Mackovic, was fired after a final three year stretch in which his Texas teams went 15-8 in conference play (.652 winning percentage) with a 22-14-1 overall record (.608 winning percentage). During that time, Mackovic was 4-7-1 against the Top 25 (.375 winning percentage).

No, , really?

Yep, but I only said that because I first wrote a really smart aleck and offensive post, thought better of it, edited it, and tried to say something nice.

Ironically, Mack wouldn't have a job right now if not for Vince Young.

Mack Brown is not a good gameday coach, for sure. But DeLoss Dodds' name says it all for the Longhorns, in more ways than one. What's in a name? You tell me....I'm at a loss for words here.

I've said this many times before: Mack - VY = Wal-Mart Door Greeter
