Cabaniss is a nice place but it only holds 9500...With PI being the only Valley team left I expect the Valley to show up in full force....any rumblings of a sell out?

I really don't think it'll be a sell out but I'm not taking any chances.
I'll be there 2 hours before kick-off if not sooner.

It may also draw local fans from the surrounding area as Refugio & Flour Bluff are the only two remaining coastal bend teams still in the hunt.

Last time I saw PI play was the Reg. semi game at Alamo stadium against I think Marlin. Turned out to be an awesome 5 OT thriller! I think. lol
I don't know how some of you don't let all these playoff games "run together".

Hoping for a sellout! Then maybe it can be telecast live.

Game is on Saturday, so it would have to be sold out by Thursday for this to happen correct?

That game was in the quarter-finals against Rice Consolidated, 4 OT and PI won 63-61.
They played Marlin in the Semi-finals the following week and got beat 40 something to 10ish, not sure.
PI's star running back had a leg injury and just wasn't effective against Marlin.

I have always wanted to know who the Cabaniss Athletic Complex was named after?

I have always wanted to know who the Cabaniss Athletic Complex was named after? Cabaniss Atheletic Complex named after Cabaniss Airfield that the Navy uses for pilot training right close to the complex. Better parking than Buc Stadium which basically has none.

For a 3a game the biggest crowd I ever saw was Burnet/Sinton 2002 almost 14000 at Bobcat stadium in San Marcos. 7th largest crowd to watch a football game at that stadium at that time. Burnet folks will attest to that!! Great football atmosphere!

Should have seen those Burnet/Jasper crowds those same years. Probably 20-25K. Filed up almost all of the bottom section on each sideline of Kyle Field.

lot of mention rgv fans making it to the game that are not from Port Isabel but pretty sure there will be fans from Corpus area also at this game, most likely having to sit in visitor side.

How can it b a sellout before Thursday if only the two schools participating get presale tickets?? Navarro didn't bring as many fans as I thought. I'm sure Bellville will bring more.

Most stadiums won't let you in until 1.5 hours before kick-off. Don't know what the UIL ruling
is on that but we like to get there early and settle in. Might have to get there a little earlier
for this one. Thanks.

I think the Brahmas and their fans should take the train like they did for the '60 championship game. That would save alot of parking space. Next weeks game vs Nasty Soda will be much closer.
