In Region III, I think Marlin has got to be in there. I Have seen them play, very fast and physical. They have a pretty good QB. I don't think La Grange is that good. I saw them play ealry on and they didn't impress me much. Unless they have greatly improved, I see them making it 3 rounds at the most.

Region IV- What about Bandera, Edna, Rice, Port Isabel?

Region 2 is completely up in the air. No one has jumped out as a sure fire favorite.

You have to say that Commerce and Celina have the experience and tradition to survive in the playoffs though, they have proven it over and over and over.

If Lindale sneaks in and pushes Gilmer back to Division 2, we might ought to keep an eye on the Buckeyes. They've been quietly kicking butt. Have only lost close games to a very tough Wills Point and 4A playoff team Longview Pine Tree.

Another one to watch out for is Jefferson. Something happened up there and this team appears to be for real. They were 0-5 and didn't even compete in most of those 5, then all of a sudden they're unstoppable. If they end up going 5-0 in district, they might give folks some fits in post-season.

Celina, Commerce, Quinlan Ford, Wilmer-Hutchins, Crandall, Winnsboro (or maybe Gilmer), Mt. Vernon, Daingerfield, New Boston, Spring Hill, Jefferson, Rusk, & Tatum makes for a pretty tough bracket.

If Gilmer gets in D2, I'll tag them as the favorite for Region 2. If not, Celina or Commerce.

i don't think la vernia will be there in region IV due more to luck of the draw than the team they've got up there. their first-round opponent will probably be bandera. from there, rice consolidated or yoakum and after that, probably aransas pass or port isabel. if they do get to the regional finals, either cuero or liberty hill will probably be waiting for them. that's a straight up murderer's row in region IV.

What about Kennedale in Region 1? They have an extremely explosive, and mistake free offense. They can get the long run or pass, or pound it up the middle for a 5 yard gain. Yet they aren't picked. What about Everman? Why is Bridgeport going to win?

KENNEDALE is D2. IN 8-AAA, Everman is D1, Kennedale D2, and Glenrose D2. So again why isnt Kennedale picked?
