Now I wonder what happens to Melissa and Pittsburg's non-district games w/them...will the UIL tell them to drop Prime Prep?

Deon is just a spoiled kid who couldn't play by the rules so he is taking his ball and going home.

Thought this might happen. I feel bad for the kids.

I think what Deion's doing is trying to stick to a lot of people now, because whats' going to happen now is they can legally recruit athletes...the question will be though

Can a national schedule work in football?

For basketball they've already proven they can do a national schedule and recruit the best athletes...but football is a different animal

so in essence..prime prep did not want to be restrained by rules and regulations, and athletics and fielding "super teams" is the schools primary purpose for existing...in ernest t bass terms, they are "street" smart!

I agree the primary purpose for existing is to simply field athletic powerhouse teams......

thats a lot of travel...i doubt de la salle will travel here..most wont! prime prep will have to go to them if he wants games, as they compete in regulated leagues

They'll have to travel a lot because they dont have a stadium...and finding games in October and November will be a huge chore...they couldnt do it this year

Melissa can fill its open date with another 11-3A team in either Week 5 or Week 6. Those teams all ended up with just 9 games last year because of Prime Prep.
