Pancho, how does that crow taste? Manti Teo is great story, but if he is on any other team orher than ND or if they have one loss, then he is not even in the discussion. He is very good player, but not the most outstanding. Glad to see the voters got right and voted the first freshman to win the award.

how is the golf course there... heard it is a lot better... still prefer the Wilderness though

Just think how vindicated all the Heisman Voters feel today. Trying to get swayed by the media and pundits about they shouldn't vote for a frosh.

I'm glad there's only 1 Pancho in this world, and I'm glad he razzes us up and down here on the downlow. But, As for the others who voted for Teo or the other guy (Klein), they missed the boat this year too. When you let your coolade drinking/pre determined, biased personal preference interfere with who's clearly deserving of it, you water down the overall reason for such a Trophy. They should flush out all the voters who voted for the other guys this year, to raise the relevance of the trophy to its rightful state. If Teo played for NC State or some other team, he wouldn't have had a 2nd look. Obviously, many of the voters got it right and so the trophy would still have a large voting block who would vote with their conscience instead of the color they bleed.

What say you now El Rey de los tamales? :)

Pancho should have been very impressed with Teo's MATADOR skills last night. He ole'd Lacy all night long.

On another note- why does Teo always wear a lei around his neck? I don't go around everywhere chowing down on kolaches and drinking shiner bock. Well, not all the time anyway.

The experts (and a lot of non experts) said Johnny would fall flat on his face in Cotton Bowl after awards circuit and all he had done since last game. Well he came out and broke just about every record in the Cotton Bowl a QB could break. He was one dropped pass in the endzone from becoming only the second 300 yd passing / 200 yd rushing player in college football history.

Teo on the other hand stunk it up on the grandest of stages. Wow really, all of A&M's LBs played better against Bama than Teo. Maybe Stewart, Porter and Jenkins should have won all of those defensive awards and player of the year awards.

Just goes to show you power of Notre Dame and the media. Had he won the Heisman what a joke that would have been.
