Word on Facebook is he has a broken femur and will require surgery! I will let you know when that is confirmed!

That sucks. Hope he isn't a basketball player who will miss his season. Happened to a young man from Aledo I saw on the boards from 8th grade. Praying he will recover fast.

For an athlete, a femur fracture is the worse injury to sustain and recover from. GOD speed to this young man. Dern shame.

Was this a compound fracture? I hope not for his sake. I snapped my femur in half when I was 19 years old, and it took a full 6 months before I could even think about returning to work. Maybe he will be able to get to play baseball before the season is up. Prayers headed his way.

I went to school with his mom!! He is back home and doing good!!

Here's a little bit of trivia for you.....his mom (the one I went to school with) is the sister of the Big Spring Steers head coach!!!
