Carthage 16 Plastine 6 middle of the 2nd. note: Carthage goes into the end zone by a yard, Plastine knocks the ball out of the Carthage players hand and the reff calls it a fumble. Next Carthage possession, Carthage snaps the ball over the head of the punter. 4 plays lter it is 16 to 6. Plastine kicks off and Carthage fumbles. Plastine goes to score and fumbles. Very sloppy game. If the Dawgs don't get it together, it will be one and done.

Dawgs win 30 to 27 This is my take on the game. It is by far the worst game the Dawgs have played in 5 years. We loose a TD or taken away by the ref, we run the ball down to the 2yd line and throw a int in the end zone, we snap the ball over the punters head, the Q/B fumbles a snap, we can not complete a pass more than 5yds down the field. 4 turn overs. We were very lucky to win this game. Palastine was not very good, they were very fast, but no where on the same level as the Ville, Elcampo, Silsbee, and the rest of the 3A teams in the playoffs. I believe the Dawgs win next week against Taylor, but another game like tonight and the Dawgs will be sent home. The Dawgs had a week off to prepare for this game and look like a pee wee football team. The only bright spot was the defense, they kept the Dawgs from losing this game. I will not be spouting off about the Dawgs because the Dawgs have me doubting if they can beat a good football team. Coach S made calls tonight that I do not understand. The Dawgs ran the ball at will but Coach would stop running and continue to try and throw the ball with no success. I am at a loss on how to explain why the Dawgs did what they did in their play calling. Oh well we are in it for one more week anyway. God Bless and everybody be safe going home.
