Ken Hall, the Sugarland Express, figured his national career high school rushing record would eventually fall. He didn't figure it would take this long, but his reign atop the record books, at least for the career mark of 11,232 yards, will likely end tonight when Derrick Henry of Yulee High School in Yulee, Florida takes the field needing 102 yards to make his own mark.

Henry got the record. Will probably hit the 12,000 yard mark before it's all said and done.

Spoke to Hall last year at my mother's class reunion. A very genuine & modest person, he really thought those records would be broken a long time ago.
