You can't be serious? Did the UIL make the decision for them or did the coaches agree to that?

Coaches make those decisions. Everman lost the toss for home. Everman wouldn't play on grass. So Austin and Waco were cancelled. So it's indoors and on carpet.

I heard rumors that UT Memorial and Waco ISD were options, but Everman choose carpet over location! I'd think their fans wouldn't like such a long trip. What is it, 250 miles or so? Burnet folks think the location is cool, but UT would have been cooler.

been there done that... not everyone in burnet thinks the alamo dome is cool... i would have liked grass better... i think both teams are pretty beat up after this long haul to state and i'm sure falling on the turf is going to hurt!?! i would have liked to go to texas stadium or wutever... but o well!?! Goodluck to Both teams and may the best dawg win!?!

20Bulldawg05....you are so right about the grass factor. By saying cool, I just meant the distance from Burnet was not so great.

waco isd wouldnt have been able to hold all the football crazies that would be there. the alamodome is gonna be packed as it is, just too bad it is indoors, no artificial noisemakers. oh well, i think that a lot of burnet and everman fans will make enough noise on their own. see yall at the game!
