The Wylie-Argyle match should be a good one, and may decide this season's state champion. Argyle has been through some tough competition this year, and has perservered to make it to state again. I know Wylie is very good, and this match may be their stiffest competitor in the tournament. I can promise you Wyliedogs that Argyle will not relent, and you will see a "team" effort from our girls. They play very well as a complete team. Argyle has no single outstanding player....just a very good team that plays well together. It has been effective for us all year. In past seasons, we did have some players that we depended heavily on.....not the case this season. Look for Argyle to be a very tough out in order for Wylie to win this match. Argyle could not have drawn a tougher opponent, but neither could have Wylie.

No we are not, some of our best athlete's do not play BB. They concentrate on Volleyball and softball, most want a little break between sports. I do not blame them , my son is the same way.

There are no easy draws at the state tourney. Everybody will be ready.

Haha yeah Lovejoy is a "good team.". 4 consecutive state titles and going for their 5th this season, only now they are in 4A. That is downright amazing!! We hung with em last year in the title game and took em to 5 sets but I don't think anybody in 3A was sorry to see them move up! ;)

Decatur did have a very good team. We played them earlier this season. . I'm looking forward to a great weekend of volleyball.

Yes, we had a huge Pep rally Monday night at the Court House for all 3 teams. Most girls play together during the summer or against each other, I am glad I do not have a girl because Volleyball is 24/7. It gets crazy, kids will miss school games to go play in select volleyball tournaments. To each his own, it is definitely paying off this weekend.

Club ball and playing year round makes a world of difference. The top metro-plex high schools (SLC, Heritage-Colleyville, Coppell, Lovejoy) all have players on different club teams, they play with and against each other. It's a lot of work and a lot of money, but if you put in the effort it pays off. Sounds like Fayette County might have found the formula.
