I think the Gobblers and Bulldogs are peaking now and think they both advance. Don't think the Leps stand a chance against the Ricebirds though.

I would love to see District 26-3A sweep 25-3A, but I don't think it will happen. I do believe that the winners of these bi-district match-ups, however, have a good chance to make it state semifinals because I don't really see anybody else in Region IV being that tough. I don't think anybody in Region IV was even ranked in the top 30 on last week's Harris poll. Here are my predictions for the 25-3A vs 26-3A match-ups:

Cuero may surprise Bellville. Both teams are playing hard nosed football and have talent so it will be close either way. Yoakum should beat Wharton by 2 tds or more as if what I heard on the board is true Grissom out with a fractured tibia they will not have the x factor in their backfield...Grissom's ability to make a big play out of a blown play. As for LG well we have our work cut out for us but I know this team will not roll over. I'm going with a Lep upset here. Leps by 1.

I knew the D25 teams were more closely matched but always had the suspicion that the top D25 teams were better.
