Update on my Mom, Linda. Just got a call from a nurse that said they expect mom to die today or tomorrow. Here is the kicker. She needs a blood tranfusion to get her hemoglobin and other problems AND THE HOSPITAL WON'T GIVE HER ONE! I feel like Spohn Hospital is killing my mother!

Just left the hospital. They will give her the transfusion but it will just delay the inevitable. I made peace with my Momma tonight. So did Denise and the kids. My brothers are coming down from Houston. Played her favorite music. Her heart rate increased. :) When I played her favorite song, America by Neil Diamond, her heart rate matched the beat of the song. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/traurig/sad-smiley-021.gif
Nurse of 25 years said she hasn't seen someone go through so much and still be alive. I could have told her she should have expected that.

Funeral information for Linda Matocha (Mom):
Rosary will be recited at 7 PM Nov. 12 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Nov. 13 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sinton. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Beeville, Tx.
