Just heard that the Gatesville vs. Venus/Alvarado Winner will be played at Midway ISD Stadium Friday November 16 at 7:30PM, of course we all know it will be Gville vs. Alvarado...looking forward to a great game in a great venue!

seriously...Alvarado and Venus have only met on the football field 11 times in our history..they won the first game in 1911 14-0....since that game they are 0-10 vs Alvarado and have scored 18 total points in those 10 loses...so maybe they are looking to score a "point" this week..

Uh, no.

Both AV and VS are 1-2 in district. Both lost to SV and GR and both won against HB.

If Hell froze over and VS won, then they'd go and AV would start bouncing the round balls way sooner than expected. Not going to happen. Better chance LH beats GV then VS beating AV.

Heard yesterday that the Sville players are ready to unleash on Burnet after losing out in 7 on 7 to them in College Station this summer. I sure would hate to be a Bulldog next Friday. This game will be very physical, I can assure you that. :clap:
