This seems to me to be such a arbitrary thing that we will see more BS with them trying to enforce the rule than before. Yes JJ Berea exaggerated the contact to get the referees attention but if he hadn't then the refs would not have called the offensive foul that DID occur! So basically they are punishing JJ for helping the refs to do the job correctly? And I got beat up big time on here when I said I felt MLB should stop catchers from framing pitches to try to fool the ump. The difference is when a player flops there is contact from the offensive player and it COULD be a actual offensive foul that would have gone uncalled. When a catcher frames a outside pitch it is fooling the ump into being wrong on the call. There is a difference!
