Good question Bosque. I'm interested in where Sville vs Burnet or Brownwood vs Alvarado/Glen Rose would be played. Floyd Casey, Waco ISD, Waco Midway, Sville?

Alvarado/GR vs. Bwood would be great to have in Sville. It is halfway.

More than likely our 1st round game will be in Waco.

I don't know for sure but I bet we stay on a Friday schedule with the SC game being on a Friday.

I bet 95% of 3A playoff games are on Thursday or Friday

I asked Coach Gillespie this earlier in the year and he said they would do everything possible to keep our playoff games on Friday Nights

The smokers of the world would say Tyler...you can smoke inside the stadium & watch the game at the same time...only in East Texas

I'll be there no matter what. Why would I miss it? The world doesn't end until 12-22-12.

Wow...really? I didn't think places like that existed anymore. Do they let them play their banjos in the stands, too?

Growing up in west central texas, I always thought the hicks were out west. When I moved to Waco after getting married and my job took me to places like Tyler, Longview, Palestine and Marshall, I realized how wrong I was...

Lol.. yes I thought it was only in the movies until I went on a guided fishing trip at Lake Livingston. Wow, talk about an eye opener. The were more hillbillie's hanging around the lake dam than there were catfish.

If Stephenville plays Burnet, I hope it's either at Waco ISD or Waco Midway. If Midway, I hope Stephenville gets the home side. Wow, now that renovation is nice.

I read lots of posts over the years from people saying that don't like to play at Waco ISD. Personally, I like it. I've never been to Midway's stadium that I can recall.

I agree with you ccmom. I've been to many playoff games there and it's great if you ask me. Easy to get to, plenty of room, parking isn't bad. Plenty of restaurants near by.

Midway's stadium was recently revamped. Very nice. Same friend did this one that is also doing the LH facility. ;)

I think Waco ISD is fantastic especially with no track! The building boom of new stadiums in my opinion started after the construcion of Waco ISD in 2000. It's just a shame that on most Friday nights it's far less than half full. Waco ISD has a pitiful following. Midway on the other hand is always jam-packed!

Waco ISD when it has a good crowd is a fantastic place to watch a game.... the Stephenville-Everman playoff game was fantastic... the first Stony Point-Trinity game there also had a great crowd...people in the pressbox are friendly also

Waco ISD has always been one of my personal favorites. Good parking, great stadium, and friendly staff. Midway is somewhat similar to Waco ISD. Both would be great choices.

My son and I had about a 5 or 6 year tradition of eating at Wingstop down the road from Waco Stadium and then going to playoff games. Now he is in the playoffs, but if we are open on Saturday, we still try to do it occasionally.

Just realized I passed the 500 post mark. Cool.

I watched a double header at Waco ISD one year (2002 I think). Southlake Carroll vs Lufkin followed by Bangs vs Corrigan-Camden. Both great games.
